Welcome!
The Kids in Developmental Science (KIDS) Lab is directed by Dr. Madison Pesowski and is based in the Department of Psychology at the University of the Fraser Valley.
We study how children think about people, including how they reason about others' emotions, behaviors, and internal mental states, like ideas and preferences. We are also interested in children's understanding of concepts like ownership, and how they use this understanding in their social reasoning.
